After almost three years and several hui with Māori both online and in-person, the MSWG has reached agreement on a MOU with MBIE officials and responsible Ministers.

The MOU outlines a negotiation package and path to establish a new legislated Māori Spectrum Entity. It was approved by Cabinet in February and now awaits a response from Iwi/Maori.
 

This is an invitation for Māori individuals and organisations to join the Māori Spectrum Working Group’s final national online hui in this series. The goal is to seek your thoughts on a Governance Model for the new entity.

Due to the uncertain situation with Covid, the hui will be held by Zoom.
